DESCRIPTION

Hydrate descriptions are from multiple sample sites along the Blake Ridge: Mat-like white crystals White nodules, 4 to 25 cc each White nodules, < 1 cc each Vertical veins, 0.5 cm thick, 4cm wide, 30-40 cm long Nodules: largest was 5-6 cm in diameter, opaque, white and smooth. Cylinders: 5-8 cm long. Nodules: largest was ~100cc; Vertical veins, 1-3 mm thick, up to 40 cm long. Nodules: largest was ~100cc; Vertical veins, 1-3 mm thick, up to 40 cm long. Vertical veins, broken into 1-3 cm fragments during recovery; Cylinders: 1-2 cm diameter, 4-12 cm long Vertical veins, broken into 1-3 cm fragments during recovery; Cylinders: 1-2 cm diameter, 4-12 cm long
